Today, YouTube surfaced a video to me about Joe Achilles driving from Morocco to London on a single tank of gas in a 2011 VW Passat TDI. It reminded me of when my brother and I drove from Arizona to Maine in our old 2002 VW Golf TDI non stop. We made about six or seven stops for fuel, never letting the tank get below 1/3 full, but at the time I did the math and saw that I could make it in even fewer.
