I’ve never been a big comic reader, but this video essay about Bernard Krigstein’s influence on modern comics make me want to actually read the graphic novels that I have.

Rewatched the episode of Every Frame a Painting where Tony Zhou describes Steven Spielberg’s use of the long take. Since the Mrs and I saw Jaws in theatres last year, I had completely forgotten there was one in there.

Quinns from Shut Up & Sit Down gives a talk at the Shut Up & Sit Down expo regarding the history of board games. I hunted down my backgammon set after watching this.
