A bunch of video links

This is something new I’m trying. I’m going to be posting links to stuff I find on the internet that I find interesting.

Creating Brass Plates

I’ve always been interested in how these brass name plates are made. I assume that they last much longer and painted on writing or stickers because I’ve seen them on every old piece of machinery and they look cool as hell.

How Money Moves

As someone who works in finance and dealt with inter institutional money movement, this video summed up what I learned in months into a few minutes. It’s really good.

Simple Pasta Sauce

Haven’t tried this yet, but I will soon. I’ll report back soon.

Oiling a Wooden Cutting Board

This video is more of a bookmark for me than anything else.

Neat Rotary Cell Phone

Ok, this is just cool. Nothing that I or anyone else would use as a daily driver, but I like that she had a vision and goal and achieved it.

Donut Science

I LOVE DONUTS!

Non-Actor Actors

I need to watch more films. These are going to get me started again.

Fry’s Electronics: A Remembrance

I miss the Fry’s Electronics that we had in town. The last couple of years of them being open seemed like a ghost town.

I still remember buying PC components when I built my first computer in 2011. The shelves were packed back then. Sure the staff knew less than the customers, but no one cared.

Concert Logistics

I used to work in events, specifically set up and take down as a contractor. The work schedule sucked, but it was fun as heck. This brought back those good memories.

Getting into Foreign Cinema

(Furiously writing movie names while watching)

Repairing Headphones

The simplicity of these headphones are incredible. I’d love to hear what they sound like.

Heath Insurance
